Copilot
An AI assistant that works alongside you inside an app. Also the name of Microsoft’s assistant.
A general name for an AI helper built into the software you’re using, which suggests and drafts while you stay in charge. Copilot is also the brand name of Microsoft’s AI assistant.
Why it matters
A copilot inside tools you already pay for is often the easiest place to start, with no new app to learn. Check whether it’s included in your plan or sold as an add-on.
At work
In your word processor, a copilot turns your bullet points into a first draft of a proposal; you rewrite the parts that matter.
Think of it like a co-pilot in the next seat: helps with the checklist and the radio, but the captain stays in command.
